  • What is Elderberry and what are its benefits?
    Elderberry is a dark purple almost black berry that's been used for hundreds of years as a natural plant based health remedy. It is packed full of vitamins and antioxidants that may aid your immune system the extra support during cold and flu season or as an overall wellness. Our elderberry products are made from organic dried berries of the Sambucus Nigra plant.
  • How do I store my Elderberry Syrup and how long does it last?
    Our Elderberry Syrup arrives sealed, meaning it can stay at room temperature til you open the jar & begin consuming. The shelf life unopened is 2 years. After the jar is opened, it will last approximately 5-6 months in the refrigerator. You can also freeze syrup in ice trays or another airtight container for a longer period of time.
  • How often should I take Elderberry and what dose should I take?
    Some customers take it year 'round while others only during the notorious cold and flu season. Some also choose to only take it at the onset of a cold. It's recommended to talk with your physician and do your own research when it comes to using elderberry. Suggested dosages are: Adults 1 tablespoon/day. Children (over age one) 1 teaspoon/day. These are as an overall wellness. At the onset of a cold you may take the same above doses every 3-4 hours til symptoms disappear.
  • How much Elderberry Syrup does my family need?
    Great question! Here is a reference to give you a better idea.. Our 16oz jar holds approx. 30 adult servings and approx. 90 child servings. An adult serving is 1 tablespoon A child serving is 1 teaspoon
